THE WRONG MAN So Ferguson Says About the Jurors Impression In the case of Tom Ferguson vs George Nicholson which was tried before be-fore Justice Bartch and a jury a few weeks ago and a verdict rendered for the defendant the plaintiff has now filed his motion for a new trial and urges among other reasons why a new trial should be granted that some of the jurors were prejudiced and although al-though they declared when impaneled that they did not know Mr Ferguson one of them when they retired to consider con-sider said I know Ferguson he is a skinner this is one of his schemes Two of the jurors in the case have signed an affidavit stating that one of their number made that remark Mr Ferguson says the juror who made that remark was under a wrong impression im-pression anyway and that i was another an-other man named Ferguson whom the juror meant and whom he thought was the plaintiff in the suit The amount involved is about 1200
