Court Matters at Paris Idaho PARIS Idaho March 15Special telegram tele-gram to THE HERALD The trial jury was called yesterday to try tho case of the territory ter-ritory against Cahill Several witnesses wore examined for the prosecution The defense put no witnesses on the stand and the case was given to the jury today After being out lor four hours they came into court and a verdict of not guilty was given The prisoner was rearrested by the sheriff and will answer Monday to a charge of burglary or accessory acces-sory after the fact This is the case of burglary of the Burgoyne store J J Peterson was brought into court and a motion made by his attorney J C Rich to withdraw his former plea of not guilty and enter a plea of guilty The court granted the motion and he pleaded guilty to the charge of grand larceny Ho wjll be tried Monday on the charge of burglary bur-glary Peterson it will bo remembered stole some horses from this county and was arrested in Montana Michael Fitzpatrick will plead on Monday Mon-day to the charge of forgery The grand jury came into court this afternoon af-ternoon and presented true bills of indictments indict-ments accusing Ellen Elm and Oscar Qnarselle of the crime of murder and the prisoners were arraigned and will V enter their plea on Monday George Sheehey was arrested by Sheriff Jones yesterday on a bench warrant for embczzleKent and entered a plea of not guilty The bonds were put at 300 and this case will be ready for trial next week The grand jury is still in session and the business of the court is pushed with all possible speed The Quarsello murder case will take most of this term
