Idahos Cattle Stealing Case I BLACKFOOT Ida March 9Specil telegram tele-gram to THE HERALD The sensational trial of C H Frye Broun Tount ot aI for alleged wholesale cattle stealing in this I vicinity commenced in the district court here today The charge is that Frye who is a wholesale butcher in Seattle was in a conspiracy with one Cheyenne Bill formerly forman of the Bennett cattle company pany and other parties who would steal the cattle from their employers and in connection con-nection wit the cattle actually purchased ned i lt they would run them to Seattle A trainload train-load of cattle was overhauled at Payette on January 18 last which contained cattle stolen from various parties in southern Idaljo Upon this the indictments were based The prssecution is represented by District Attorney Winters and James H Hawley the defense by Arthur Brown of SaltLake W H Smith of Ogden Fremont Fre-mont Wood United States attorney for Idaho and L R Rogers of Ogden
