Show Golden Years Center Schedule For Jan. lhe Golden Years monthly luncheon will be held on Jan. 17 and the meal will be served at 12 noon. Make reservations belore that date. MOST OF the classes are now meeting at the regular times, though the ceramics with 11a Case will not begin uniil Jan. 16. Anyone is still welcome to join the sewing classes which meet on Monday Mon-day at 8:30 a.m. and on Tuesday Tues-day morning. Come in or call the center to get additional inlurmation on the classes. 1 here will be a bus trip to Elko, Nev. on Monday, Jan. 21, leaving the center in the early morning. They will return re-turn on Tuesday evening. Call the center if interested, 295-3479. Sign up right away if you would like to take this trip. IHE AARP meeting will be held on Jan. 28 at 12:30 p.m. in the Art Room. Austin Hulcheson has arranged the program. The guest speaker will be Afton Forsgren, who is chairwoman of the joint legislative council of retired persons and teachers. She is a retired teacher and duel lobbyist for senior citizens ci-tizens at the special budget session in January. She also olien appears on Channel 4 TV at the noon hour to speak in behalf of the senior citizens and their problems. Everyone is invited to attend this AARP meeting and hear this interesting speaker. THE LAMARR Han Chapter of China Painters will meet on Jan. 12 at the Hart studio. Bring a piece of china to work on at this special workshop, kj Phase "B" of the 450 South Street, Farmington, storm sewer construction project is nearing completion. Phase "A" and "B" of the project has a total price tag of $154,000, financed by Farmington Far-mington City storm sewer impact fee revenues, and Davis County storm sewer funds. The Elden H. Knudson Constructon Co. is the contractor con-tractor for the job WHEN COMPLETED, the storm sewer will collect run-off water in both the city and county areas, from developments located between Steed Creek and Glovers Lane. Farmington City officials are very concerned con-cerned about the need for storm sewer facilities, city wide. Studies are being made to evaluate need and to determine de-termine policy and financing alternatives to solve similar problems.
