Show DEATHS AIIIMS EMMETT Impressive funeral services ser-vices for Elizabeth Emmett, five-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs. J Henry Hen-ry Emmett, were held ln tho Second ward meeting hrouse at 2 o'clock yesterday yes-terday afternoon. The services wero under the direction of the ward bishopric, bish-opric, Bishop Robert McQuarrle presiding pre-siding The speakers wore: T. Samuel Sam-uel Browning, E A. Larkin, Hebev Scowcroft and Bishop McQuarrle. A number of musical selections interspersed inter-spersed the services. "My Father Knows" was sung by a quartette composed com-posed of Jed Ballantyne, Walter Stevens, Ste-vens, Miss Elsie Shorten and Miss Rhea Stevens. Miss Shorten bang "Your Sweet Little Rosebud;" "Oh, My Pother," was given by Miss Irma Browning, and "The Christian's Goodnight" Good-night" was rendered by Miss Josephine Joseph-ine Shorten. Burial was in the Ogden Og-den City cemetery and tho grave was dedicated by W. G. Newman. YOUNGQUIST Impressive funeral services for Emma Youngquist, 19-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Youngquist, wero held yesterday yes-terday at the Third Ward meetlng"-house meetlng"-house In Brigham City. A large concourse con-course of sorrowing frleuds and relatives rela-tives followod the body to the grave. The ward bishopric and others offered of-fered words of consolation for tho loss by untimely death of so promising and beautiful u young daughter and sister in the church. 00 FARMER SERIOUSLY HURT. Hober City. Juh 30. Henry Croft a vell known young man of this vicinity, vicin-ity, was seriously injured late this afternoon af-ternoon by falling thirty-five feet from a haystack to the ground. Croft had just finished "capping" the stack and was engaged In binding tho toy with wire, when, as ho attempted to make one of the fastenings more secure, se-cure, tho wire broke and Croft fell to the ground Ho remained uncon-scIoub uncon-scIoub for half an hour. It is bollevcd by the attending physician that his skull Is fractured. |
