Granger library will be second only to Whitmore library which serves as headquarters for the 13 branches of the Salt Lake County Library System. The Granger facility is second only to Whitmore in circulation materials. The need has been felt for additional services for some time. With the completion of remodeling, the services will become available. New services and equipment will include an expanded production center to include ditto, laminating and thermofax machines, copiers, paper cutters and paper punches. Electric typewriters will be available, as well as a dark room, tape copier and opaque projectors. A new addition will be video tape viewing areas. A selection of educational video tapes is available and upon request may be viewed in special coin-operat- micro-compute- and equipment. The childrens room will feature a video viewing area, as well as television and special listening areas.
