Show TSgt. Grant Johnson and Miss Lorraine Mason United In Temple Ceremony TSgt. Grant Douglas Johnson and Miss Lorraine Mason, were united in marriage Tuesday, Sept. 5th at the St. George L. D. S. Temple. A large group of relatives rela-tives and friends attended with Pres. Harold S. Snow performing the ceremony. Included were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam G. Mason, her grandmothers, Mrs. Ezra Mason and Mrs. James Cerfew, all of Aurora, Utah, and the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Johnson, of St. George. Following the ceremony the wedding party assembled at the home of the groom's parents for a buffet lunch and visiting before the couple left for a short honeymoon honey-moon in Zion National Park. Sgt. Johnson just returned last week from overseas duty, having completed 30 flying missions and served several months as instructor in-structor at various air bases in England. He wears the Distinguished Dis-tinguished Flying Cross, with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Presidential Presi-dential Citation with one Oak Leaf Cluster and the Silver Star. The bride has taught school several sev-eral years in northern Utah since graduating from the B. Y. U., and worked for the past two years at Boeing airfield in Seattle, Wash., where the couple met while Sgt. Johnson was there in training. |
