Show Engagement of Miss Audrey Morris To Pvt. Burke Randall, Announced Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Morris Jr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Audrey, to Pvt. Burke Dyson Randall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brig Randall of this city. The engagement was made known last Saturday evening at an informal in-formal dinner at the Randall home with immediate family members mem-bers and a few close friends present. pres-ent. A dinner at the Morris home also honored the couple Sunday. Miss Morris graduated from the Woodward high and the lower division di-vision of Dixie junior college, and is now operator at the Vogue Beauty shop. Pvt. Randall also completed the lower division of Dixie junior college before entering enter-ing military service. He has been in the Army for four years, seeing action in the major battles of the Central Pacific, and was there at Pearl Harbor during the "sneak Jap raid". Pvt Randall has just been home for a month's furlough, his first since entering the service. He left Sunday evening to rejoin his regiment, planning to visit his brother, June Randall, who is in the U. S. Navy, before leaving the United States. The marriage of Pvt. Randall and Miss Morris will await his return permanently or on his next furlough. |
