Show Mrs. Ida M. Seegmiller Honored On 74th Birthday Mrs. Ellen S. Bentley entertained Wednesday afternoon honoring her mother, Mrs. Ida M. Seegmiller, the occasion being her seventy-forth seventy-forth birthday anniversary. The afternoon was devoted to visiting followed by refreshments. Guests included for the afternoon after-noon were Mrs. Seegmiller's three living sisters, Mrs. George F. Whitehead, Mrs. M. W. Andrus and Mrs. S. C. Hardy, her daughters daugh-ters and granddaughters. Mrs. Seegmiller has led a very active life, rearing her eight children without the assistance of her husband who died when they were small. She has assisted all of them in obtaining at least junior college education, most of them having gone farther, and four have had experience as school teachers, three continuing in that field. Six of the eight are married and rearing their own families. Until recently, Mrs. Seegmiller devoted many years to care of the sick, having completed courses in that line of work after her children were grown. She has had a life of rich experience and is able to enjoy today her religious religi-ous duties and associations with children and friends. |
