Haslem announce the engagement and forthcoming for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Karen, to Dave Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cook. The couple will be united in marriage mar-riage June 2 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held in honor of the couple June 3 at the Naples First Ward Chapel. Karen is a 1982 graduate of Uintah High School. She is presentlyt employed with Deseret Federal. While in school, Karen served as vice president presi-dent of the drill team her junior year and president her senior year. She was a member of the dance club her junior and senior years. She was also a four year seminary graduate. Dave is a 1980 graduate of Uintah High School. He is presently employed with Cook Livestock. While in school he was involved in football his junior and senior years. He was FFA president presi-dent his senior year and was a four year seminary graduate. He served a full-time mission in the Arizona Holbrook Mission for the LDS Church. The couple plan to make their home in Vernal. |
