Turkey dinner for Tribes Seniors Twenty-tw- people including the Ute o Tribe Senior Citizens and staff members, were special guests of the Manila Senior Citizens for a turkey dinner at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Armond Accuttoroop, executive director of the Ute Aging Program, made the introductions and Mayor Carole Scott gave them a warm welcome. Following the meal, Mr. Accuttoroop presented the Manila Senior Citizens a beautiful wool Indian blanket. He said the Manila Senior Citizens could use this for a fund raiser if they desired. Mrs. William Briggs played several songs on the piano and some of the Senior Citizens joined in a sing-alon- Mr. Accuttoroop and Mayor Scott had been speakers at a minority meeting in Salt Lake City on Oct. 16. Mayor Scott said this was a very good meeting with important people from all over Utah attending. Robert Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin (Dick) Anderson of Seattle, Wash., who has spent the summer with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Kent Olson, and been employed at the Steinaker Chevron Station, will be returning home on Friday.
