Show 1 feg W1 The 1978 Utah Girl Scout Council cookie sale is in full swing this week and girls will be selling cookies until March 13. Delivery of cookies will be April 14-24 and payment for cookies will be taken then. Six varieties, at $1.25 a box, are available this year from the Burry Cookie Cook-ie Company. Included this year are: chocolate and vanilla cremes, sugar, peanut butter, and mint cookies and 2 new kinds: a chocolate chip cookie and 1 a cheddar cracker. All girls participating in the sale will receive a -cerificate of merit. Girls ' selling 75 or more boxes will receive the cookie patch-- this year featuring a lion eating a Girl Scout cookie. Girls selling 150-249 boxes will receive a paid day camp fee or $10 camp credit for an established camp or a $5 merchandise credit certificate redeem-albe redeem-albe at our Girl Scout equipment agency which in Moab is Miller's Clothing. Clo-thing. Sale of 250-349 boxes merits $20 camp credit or a $10 merchandise certificate. certifi-cate. Girls selling 350-499 boxes will receive $50 camp credit and those who sell 500 boxes or more will earn $80 for camp. Parents your girls play the most important role in the success of our cookie sales. They need your support and encouragement. encourage-ment. Sales made by the girls benefit the troop , financially as 12.5 cents or H each box sold goes directly direct-ly into troop funds and many troops finance some great trips through the sale of cookies. Dollars earned by the Council are used to maintain main-tain and improve the established camps, to purchase pur-chase equipment and to provide opportunities that the girls will enjoy.
