There arc fine classes fur all ages. Last week-end the following young folks attended one or mole sessions of the Utah Christian Endeavor En-deavor convention at Provo. Emma Davidson, Blanche Sessions, Tess Hines, Virginia Connors, Margaret Forsythe, Margaret McPherson, Grace Diamond, Elizabeth Gillilan, Wilford Tyall and their pastor, Rev. Harold L. Wilson. ! Perhaps the most interesting, session ses-sion of the convention was held Sunday afternon when representative representa-tive young folks from over the state took part in an oratorical contest. The contestants did splendidly and excitement ran high in the different groups represented in the contest. Springville was represented by Miss Virginia Connors, and young folks from the church turned out strong to support her. Imagine then the delight on our part when the judges annunced Miss Virginia Connors as winner of the state oratorical contest con-test for Christian Endeavor. Miss Connors' subject was "Christian Endeavor En-deavor and Christian Citizenship." She did splendidly and deserves much credit for her efforts and sun-cess. |
