Show 105 Voters Cast Ballots Under Absentee Ruling Although election clay, Tuesday, Tues-day, Nov. 6, is still twelve days distant, more than one hundred qualified voters of Utah county have already cast their ballots indicating their choice for national, na-tional, state, and county officers, according to Miss Melba Bach-man, Bach-man, deputy county clerk. One hundred five voters, to be exact, have applied at the office of the county clerk up to date, for a ballot, under the provisions provis-ions of the absent voter law, according ac-cording to Miss Bachman. According Ac-cording to tile requirements of this law, any voter who is a bona fide resident of the county and is properly registered, and who expects to be absent from Ihe voting district in which he lives, may cast his ballot any time from now until the day bo fore election. Twenty-five of the voters have applied at the clerk's office of-fice in person, while eighty have sent in their requests by mail. |
