The ceremony took place on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Salt Lake temple and the following evening a wedding reception in the Fourth ward hall honored the young couple. cou-ple. They received their guests in the lobby of the chapel, where the mantel was decorated with lovely cut flowers and tall candelabra, cande-labra, ferns and bouquets of flowers flow-ers forming a beautiful background. back-ground. The bride chose for her wedding attire a lovely white satin dress with a veil of fingertip length fastened to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of gardenias garde-nias and pink rosebuds centered with an orchid. Attending her as matron of, honor was her sister, Mrs. Aileen Conrad of Provo, while Mrs. Jane J. Finley, Miss Margaret Stringham of Manti, Miss Loween Brown of Provo and Miss Marilyn Crandall were bridesmaids. brides-maids. Ray Miller was best man and little Miss Linda Conrad was flower girl. Also in the receiving line were parents of the bride and bridegroom. bride-groom. Both Mrs. Condie and Mrs. Olsen wore black formals with corsages of rosebuds. Music for the evening was furnished fur-nished under direction of Professor Profes-sor Boggart of the B. Y. U. Gordon Gor-don Childs played violin selections, accompanied by his brother, Douglas Dou-glas Childs, who also gave piano numbers and Miss Thora Whiting of Mapleton entertained with vocal numbers. The guests were greeted at the door by Mr. and Mrs. Vadal Childs, acting host and hostess In charge of the serving was Miss Maurine Childs, who was assisted as-sisted by a group of girl friends of the bride. Mrs. Gordon Livingston Living-ston and Mrs. Bliss Childs were in charge of the gift room. The serving table was prettily decorated with a three-tier wedding wed-ding cake with burning tapers on each' side.
