Show Couple Take Wedding Vows At Chapel A pretty summer wedding was that of Miss Bonnie Dalley and Edward Prestwich, which took place on Wed-nesclay Wed-nesclay evening, June 30, at the Fourth ward chapel. Bishop Oliver H. Dalton officiated. Witnessing the rites were immediate im-mediate family members and close friends of the couple. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Thora Dalley of this city and the 'bridegroom, 'bride-groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Prestwich of Orem. Immediately after the wedding, the young couple and their wedding wed-ding party received a large number num-ber of guests in the lobby of the church which was beautifully decorated de-corated with summer flowers, ferns and tall burning candelabra. The bride was charming in a white satin wedding gown entrain. en-train. Her veil was finger-tip length fashioned to her head with a crown of seed pearls. Her bouquet bou-quet was of white glads centered with an orchid. Mrs. Drothy Muhlestien, sister of the bride, was matron of honor while the Misses Esther Fetterly, Shirley Prestwich, E r 1 e n e Prestwich, Bernice Holley and Norma Gene Bills were bridesmaids. Ann and Kay Prestwich, in formal attire, were flower girls, and carried toas-1 kets of sweet peas. Keith Ander-berg Ander-berg of Orem was best man. Several program numbers entertained en-tertained the guests during the evening, with Floyd Anderson acting ac-ting as master of ceremonies. Joyce Maxfield gave a vocal solo; June Tippetts, a reading; Marilyn Groesbeck, a piano solo; Mrs. Ellen Anderson, a vocal solo.. Mrs. Mae Groesbeck gave a toast to the bride. During the reception, refreshments refresh-ments were served under direc-r direc-r tion of Mrs. Clara Childs who was ' assisted by school friends of the bride including Darlene Ostler, Carol Eve Fullmer and Geriiel Childs. The gift room was in charge of - Mrs. Katherine Johnson, assisted D by Mrs. Elaine Prestwich, Mrs. r Hilda Prestwich and Janet Norton. The newly wedded couple left shortly after the reception on a X wedding trip to the canyons of Southern Utah. They plan to e make their home in Orem. |
