The ceremony took place at the home of the bride s parents par-ents on Saturday evening of the past week, with Bishop Gordon Heelis performing the ceremony in the presence of immediate family members and close friends The couple stood before a mantle banked with summer flowers with tall, burning candelabra on either side. The bride was beautiful in a gown of traditional satin with leg-o-mutton sleeves, high neckline and long train Her veil was fino-er-tip length and fell from a tiara of pearls. She carried a bouquet of red rosebuds from which fell ribbon streamers cauo-ht with rosettes of forget-me-nots. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs Geraldine Felt. Carol Jean Bylund, Joy Stewart, Marie Greenhalgh and Geraldine White were bridesmaids They were attired in pastel colored formats and carried colonial bouquets. Jack White did best man duties for his brother. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was given to compliment the couple in the Santaquin First ward chapel, at which a large group of relatives and friends at-1 at-1 tended. Miss Carol Jean Bylund was mistress of ceremonies at the program of the evening which was followed by dancing and refreshments. Shortly after the reception, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to the Northwest and California. They plan to make their home in Springville. |
