Show Reception Honors Couple Married In Home Rites; Making Home Here Miss Eva Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland C. Hill of this city and Alvin Orchard of Provo were united in marriage in a mid-winter home ceremony earlv last month at the home of the bride's parents. par-ents. Frank Berrett, bishop of the Fourth ward, performed the rites before a group of close relatives of the couple. The bride wore a striking purple afternoon dress for the wedding ceremony accentuated with a corsage cor-sage of white carnations. Her only attendant was her sister, Mrs. Phyllis Baine. Doing best man duties du-ties for his brother was James Orchard of Provo. An informal reception at the Hill home, complimented the newlyweds after the ceremony with approximately one hundred guests calling during the evening. Mrs. Baine was in charge of the serving and Mrs. Leila Parker of Payson arranged the gifts. The home was prettily decorated decora-ted for the occasion with cut flowers flow-ers and potted plants and a pretty wedding cake was used on the dining din-ing table. The couple are making their home in Springville. |
