Show Bride-to-Be Is Honored at Mapleton Shower An attractive bridal shower honored hon-ored Miss Edna Pate of Mapleton prior to her departure for California Calif-ornia where she will become the bride of Bob Beck. She was accompanied ac-companied on the trip by her mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Joseph Pate. Greeting- guests at the shower were the honored guest, who wore a pale blue afternoon dress; her mother and her sister, Helen Pate. They wore corsages of red rose buds centered with gardenias. Ethel Jensen acted as master of ceremonies for a program which included a vocal solo, Janice Mar-chant; Mar-chant; reading, Esther Asay; musical mu-sical pantomine, Carolyn Smith; reading, Joy Jensen; solo, Sylvia Kimball and a toast to the bride, Ireta Setterburg. Presiding over the gift room were Gladys Parry and Zora Hales- The serving table was arranged ar-ranged by Sadie Whiting, Pearl Holley and Inez Harmer, who were assisted by Mary Ann Bird, Carolyn Everett, Yvonne Hurst, Thera Lou Jensen, Sharon Jensen Jen-sen and Norma Hatfield. |
