Show 'Mid-Summer Reception Honors Pair Married July 25, at Elko, Nevada A lovely mid-summer reception complimenting newly-weds newly-weds Mr. and Mrs. John L. (Jack) CoIIcTt. was held at the home of the bride's parents in Broolside Saturday evening, Swith approximately zuu reiauvea and friends attending. The new Mrs. Collett is the former for-mer Lorraine Jordison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Jordison and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Collett. For her reception, the bride was gowned in an aqua nylon taffeta afternoon dress with an orchid corsage. Her only attendant was Miss Ann Whiting who wore a pretty afternoon dress. Standing with the groom was his brother, Roger Collett. Parents of the new-lyweds new-lyweds also assisted in receiving the guesta, the mothers toeing attired at-tired in afternoon gowns with corsages of roses and carnations. Refreshments were served during dur-ing the evening by Miss Phyllis Hunter, Miss Thelma Waters, Mrs. Lawrence Degn of Price, Mrs. Max Thorn and Mrs. J. V. Wilcox of Provo. Miss Norma Weight nad Miss RaNae Schoenfield of Payson were in charge of the gift room and Mrs. Louis Bjarnson, the guest book. The home was pretty for the occasion being decorated with a profusion of gladiolus and other flowers to carry out the attractive color scheme of yellow and green. Mr. and Mrs. Collett, married July 25, at Elko, Nev., are making their home in Springville. |
