Boyce, nee Bertie Ellen Holmes Couple At Home In Provo Following Recent Salt Lake Temple Wedding V -One of the Iovliest of mid-winter weddings was that of Miss Bertie Ellen Holmes and Derald M. Boyce, who exchanged vows in Salt Lake Temple rites, December 16. Robert I. Burton performed the ceremony in the presence of immediate relatives. The new Mrs. Boyce is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holmes of this city and the bride-groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Guy Boyce of Anaconda, Mont. The bride was charming in a slipper white satin wedding wed-ding gown entrain fashioned with high neckline and long pointed sleeves and trimmed with silk lace. Corresponding silk lace edged her finger-tip silk-net veil which fell from a ruffled head-piece. The evening following their marriage, the couple was honored with an informal wedding party at the home of the bride's parents for immediate family members and close friends, and the wedding cake was cut. The young couple are making their home in Provo. Mr. Boyce, an Ex-Army Air Corps serviceman, is enrolled as a senior at the Brigham Young University, where his bride was formerly a srtident. She is employed as a receptionist re-ceptionist at the Utah Valley Hospital. |
