Show Reception Honors Couple Following Recent Marriage in Manti Temple Pretty in every detail was the wedding reception last Thursday evening in the Stake House honoring newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Binks, who were ' ma.rrifiH WpdriPHnv in tVio tvToh Temple. The bride is the former Colleen Beardall, lovely daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Beardall of this city and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Binks of Mapleton. Standing before an arrangement of flowers and candles in tall candelabra, the newlyweds greeted greet-ed their many relatives and friends. fri-ends. The bride chose for her wedding gown, an 'all-over lace with net underskirt, pointed sleeves and tight bodice with a tiny collar a-dorned a-dorned with rhinestones and seed pearls. Her net veil had lace trim and fell from a tierra of tiny pearls. A large orchid surrounded with tiny orchids and satin ribbon streamer made up her bridal bouquet. bou-quet. Attending the bride were her sister, Miss Beth Beardall as maid of honor and Janice Beardall, Mary Jane Martindale and Helen Ash, bridesmaids. They were attired at-tired in floor-length frocks of blue taffetta and each carried a tiny white basket of flowers. Little Mary Jane Bird was flower girl. Ronald Jensen was best man and Armel Beardall, junior best man. Others in the receiving line were Mr. and Mrs. Beardall and Mr. and Mrs. Binks. Mrs. Beardall chose a gold formal for her daughter's daugh-ter's wedding and Mrs. Binks wore aqua. Their corsages were of gardenias gar-denias and rose buds. Maurine Manwaring was in charge of the guest book- Mrs. LaVern Jensen presided over the trousseau and assisting with the gifts were Alice Erickson. Verna Coffman, Emma Boren, Virginia Miner, and Doris Thompson. Serving at small tables were, Gwen Mecham, Dawn Fullmer, Marva Poulson, LaRee Biglow, Margaret Coffman and Lucille Warner, under direction of Mrs. Margaret Wing, Mrs. Fawn Cameron, Cam-eron, Mrs. Madge Leyshon, Mrs. Sarah Weight, Mrs. Orlyn Ash, Mrs. Clarice Danielson. A pretty 3-tiered wedding cake was the central decorative figure centering the serving table which also held tall white tapers. Music during the evening was furnished by Gene Braithwaite and Christa Amos who gave solo-vox solo-vox and piano numbers. Dancing was also enjoyed as the guests arrived. Greeting guests at the door were the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Warner of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schwartz. Jeanne Watts and Helen Hel-en Wing were hostesses and Del-bert Del-bert Sperry, George Hales and Donald Watts were ushers. Lee Bigelow, Harold Wing and Kay Jensen received the gifts. The program for the evening included a toast to the bride by Mrs. Mae Huriington and to . the groom by C- Lynn Hanks. Readings Read-ings and music numbers were given giv-en by Mrs. Marie Huff, Brent Rigtrup and Edna Mae Penrod, Ann Merie Fry, Doreen Schouten and Janice Sargent.
