Arranging the gift room were Mrs. Wilbur Tippetts, Mrs. Lee Olsen, Mrs. Roy Bird, Springville, Mrs. Elwood Foote and Mrs. A. L. Riding. Following the reception the young couple left for a wedding trip to California. They will make their home at Vista, Calif., where Herman is enrolled in a pre-dental course at Palomar College. The new Mrs. Allenbach has been a student at Brig'ham Young University where she was active in dramatics and a member of Theta Alpha Phi and the Mask club. Mr. Allenbach has served a mission for the LDS church. The newlyweds in company with Mr. and Mrs. Singleton and son, Dick left Tuesday night for California Cali-fornia where the couple will be honored" at a wedding party. A number of Springville- friends and relatives' attended the wedd-" wedd-" ing reception in Provo last Friday Fri-day evening honoring the former ' Miss Veloy Singleton, graduate of the Springville high school and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Singleton, and her husband, Herman Her-man M. Allenbach, Jr. Mr. Allen-bach's Allen-bach's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Herman Allenbach of Vista, Calif. The reception was held in the Provo First Ward with the. bride and groom greeting their guests in the lobby of the church. The bride was beautifully gowned in white satin styled with full cathedral cathe-dral train and trimmed with rich Venetian lace which formed a deep yoke and front panel. Her fingertip finger-tip veil was arranged to a crown of seed-pearls and she carried a bridal bouquet of shattered white carnations surrounding an orchid. Attendants included Mrs. Roy Anderson of Springville, matron of honor; Yvonne Anderson, sister of the bridegroom, Arlene Taylor and Mrs. William B. Mayfield, Jr. They wore matching frocks of green taffetta and held bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums. Mary Ellen Allenbach was flower girl. Best man was Dick Singleton, brother of the bride. The couple exchanged vows in the Salt Lake LDS Temple the day before their reception. Guests were met by Mr. and Mrs. George E. Larsen, and Dor-inne Dor-inne Brandley presided at the guest book. They were served .refreshments .re-freshments at small tables centered cen-tered with white candles trimmed with heather and yellow ribbons in a striking manner. Printed small white folders announced singers and their accompanists who were heard during the evening. Byron Jensen played background music at the organ and soloists were Vera S. Madsen, Norma Dyer, Warren Kirk and Dick Das-trup. Das-trup. Jim Geddes presented piano numbers and Gloria S. Anderson and Donna S. Jensen and Gary Singleton and Lawrence Gray were heard in vocal duets. Accompanists Ac-companists were Dorothy H. Tut-tle, Tut-tle, Raola Van Wagener and Marguerite Mar-guerite Jepperson.
