Show 5 FUNERAL HELD TUESDAY FOR J.E.ROWLAND Funeral services were conducted last Tuesday afternoon at the Val-j Val-j ley Mortuary in Provo, for Joseph j Ephraim Rowland, 71, resident of j this city, who died last Sunday at j the home of a son, Owen V. Row-j Row-j land in Provo, following a short J illness. Burial was in the Ever-i Ever-i green cemetery. He was born Sept. 23, 1875, in Springville, the son of Samuel and Mary Boot Rowland. He was educated edu-cated in7 Springville schools. He married Mary Charlett Hun ington Sept. 28, 1904. They were divorced 15 years ago. Survivors include five sons, Owen Ow-en V. Rowland, Provo, George E. Rowland, Tooele; Roy S. Rowland and Ted J. Rowland, Orem; Jack H. Rowland, Springville; one brother, bro-ther, Delbert Rowland, Tooele; three sisters, Mrs. Willis (Rene) Strong, Springville; Mrs. Kate Pace, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Lottie McDonald, Ogden. |
