Show Services At Orem For Joseph Finch Funeral services for Bishop Joseph H. Finch were conducted Sunday afternoon from Sharon ward house with burial in Provo City Burial park. The opening song was given toy a male quartet, Reuben Pyne, William Vernon, Verd Washburn and Emil Hansen; and the opening open-ing prayer was by Orson Prest-wich. Prest-wich. Reuben Pyne followed with a solo. Speakers were Bishops O. H. Anderson, Stanley Harris and B. M. Jolley; Samuel Cordner; and President A. V. Watkins. Winston Win-ston Downs gave a violinj solo, followed by a musical reading by Madge Lewis. Bishop Ephraim Twitchell spoke. "Going Home" was sung by Mrs. Nina Stratton, Mrs. Ertman Christensen, and Mrs. Melba Calder. The closing prayer was by Willard Bishop with the grave dedication toy President Birch of Tintic stake. The second crop of clover, being be-ing more highly fertilied by bees, produces better seed than the first crop. |
