Show SERVICES FOR AUDRIE ENCE Impressive an largely attended ' funeral services for Audrie Ence, 10, daughter of Arvil and Alice Sanford Ence, who died Friday, at the family residence, following a short illness of heart trouble, were held Monday in the First ward chapel. George L. Beardall of the ward bishopric was in charge. The speakers at the services were Daniel Witney of the ward bishopric, Myron A. Bayer, Frank Ogdcn of Delta and Howard Salisbury. Salis-bury. John Hardy gave a vocal solo, accompanied by Mrs. Blanch Hales; Mrs. Eileen Bird gave a violin solo, accompanied by Miss Helen Clark; the Fox sisters furnisher furn-isher a vocal duet, accompanied by Miss Annie Fox and Mrs. Ellen Anderson gave a. vocal solo. The invocation was given by Wells Crandali and the benediction benedic-tion by Frank Sanford. Albert Ogden of Delta, dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. Interment 'was under direction of Claudin funeral home. School friends of Audrie attended the services in a body and assisted in caring for the flowers which were both numerous an beautiful. " Andrie was born here, -April 12, 1925, and had lived here always. al-ways. She was a pupil in the Washington Fifth grade, where she was especially popular among her school friends. She is survived by her parents, and a brother Paul, 6, another brother, age 7, having died just a year ago this month. There also are the grandparents, Mr. and 'Mrs. A. V. Sanford and Mrs. George Ence of Springville. |
