Show Services held here for Lila S. Sanford -Funeral services were held at Wheeler Mortuary Tuesday afternoon, for Lila Leona Sanford, San-ford, 60, wife of Fred Sanford, a former resident of Springville, Spring-ville, who died Friday, May 3, in a Heber hospital of a heart ailment. She had been a resident resi-dent of Duchesne for the past several years. Mrs. Sanford was born Nov. 19, 1902, in Michigan, a daughter daugh-ter of Charles and Eve Christina Chris-tina Mack Sutter. She came to Utah at the age of 14 with her parents and settled in Thistle, later moving to Springville. She married J. Fred Sanford San-ford Sept. 17, 1922, in Provo. They made their home in Springville, then moved to Salt Lake City for two years before" moving to Duchesne County. She was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are her husband, Duchesne; a son and two daughters, Norman C. Sanford, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dean (Beverly Ann) Allen, Anaheim, Ana-heim, Calif:; and Mrs. Phillip (Lillian) Kraft, Livermore, Calif.; seven grandchildren; a half-brotlier . and half-sister, William H. Wagner, Provo; Mrs. Lloyd (Anna) Benedict, Thistle. |
