Cherring-ton Cherring-ton entertained at a family get-together and picnic dinner Friday evening in their garden complimenting compli-menting their daughter Jane and I two children who are leaving this ; week to make their home in North Topeka, Kans. A brother Jack and his wife and I family came from Preston, Ida., j for the party; also Mrs. Carol Clark and children from Ephraim, , Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cherrington ! and family and Mrs. Captold C. j Murdock and family. Jane and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Donna Harmer are both being honored hon-ored at a party at the home of an aunt, Mrs. Lillian Christensen in Orem today to which a number of relatives and friends are bidden. Johnson of this city.. Mr. and Mis. Robert Holley and daughter Julie of Arlington, Va have arrived in Utah to spend a month with Mr. Holley's parents Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holley at Ma-pleton Ma-pleton and with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Darwin Taylor at Spanish Span-ish Fork. Robert is attending dental den-tal college in Washington D.C. Other guests at the Holley home at Mapleton over the weekend also were their son Russell and his wife and four children, Cheryl, Glenn Brent and Terry of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Stallings are home from an enjoyable week's vacation to Yellowstone Park and with relatives and friends in Montana Mon-tana and Idaho. v Lt. and Mrs. Wendell Twelves (LaRhea Nielson) and three children child-ren arrived in Springville recently from Key West, Fla. and are visiting vis-iting at the home of a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson. Lt. Twelves has resigned from the service and their plans now are to make their home in Utah. . Mrs. Ruth G. Scoville of Los Angeles, Calif., is visiting at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Groes-beck. Groes-beck. Also her daughter and husband hus-band and her son and his wife from California have been recent visitors at the Groesbeck home. Mrs. ScoviUe will return to her home Saturday and will be accompanied accom-panied by Miss Rhoda Groesbeck who will spend two or three weeks in California. |
