Edith Guard is in charge of the program and has arranged a lovely surprise for the occasion. A brief installation ceremony will be held for newly elected of-ficers of the Women's Fellowship. The new officers include: Lucy Powell, president; Arlene Matti-so- n, vice president; LaVon Haodt, recording secretary; Jean Cooper, corresponding secretary; Irene Haddon, treasurer; Bee Bercovitz, devotional chairman; Ruth Kluck, hospitality chairman; Helen Ham-ilton, membership chairman; Mar-ci- a Vickery and Robbie Bird, pro-gram chairmen; Ann Sturgeon, key woman; Mildred Meyer, House 'chairman; Grace Elliott, friendly service chairman; Marilyn White, finance and stewardship; Gail Keidler, publicity and public rela-tions; Jean Miller, nom. chairman; and circle leaders are Ruth Lie-bon- er, Ruth Kerr, Marion Sweeney, Emilty Hall and Lois Jones. Keith Lignell, 1189 Iris Ln., is the new president of the Salt Lake District Dental So-ciety. He was installed at a meeting last week to succeed Dr. LeGrande R. Curtis. The installation, a special fea-ture of the society's annual bus-iness meeting, were conducted at the Aviation Club. Meet To Discuss Sanitary District Four persons have filed for the Salt Lake Suburban Sanitary Dis-trict No. 1 trustee position, ac-cording to William T. South, dis-trict manager. Deadline for filing is May 20, Mr. South. Applications may be obtained at the district offices, 1449 E. 3350 South. The election to fill the six-ye- ar position left vacant by Nick Papanikolas will be held June 5. Eligible voters number 2,000, Mr. South said. Candidates are: Dr. Leslie D. A new L.D.S. student Ward, the University 4 th, was formed Sunday night at the Institute of Religion for out-of-to- students at the University of Utah. Sustained as the Bishopric of the 4th Ward, which was created, upon the division of University 3rd Ward, were Oscar W. Mc-Conk- ie Jr., Bishop, Neal A. Max-well, 1st counselor, and Donald R. Snow, 2nd counselor. The two wards will include all out-of-to- L.D.S. students who live in Salt Lake Valley both on and off-camp- us while attending the University of Utah, according to President Wilford W. Kirton, President of University Stake. Evergreen Student Wins In Quizette Vivian Paulsen, 15- - year-- old Evergreen High School student, was 'awarded a $50 scholarship last week as one of the winners of the Deseret News Quizzette finals. Vivian scored highest of all contestants in the finals last Sat-urday at the University of Utah Union. Out of a 71 possible in the "final examination" on cur-rent events, she scored 59. Next highest score was 53 correct. In addition to the scholarship, the E. Mill Creek girl was awar-ded a trophy by the newspaper. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Paulsen, 1640 Mill-cree- k Way. The Deseret News- - sponsored program is new to the Salt Lake Valley this year. It is designed to keep junior high school stu-dents better informed on current affairs through a test, called a Quizette, presented weekly in 16 Granite District Council Olympus High PTA Name New Officers The Olympus High School Par-ent and Teachers Association named Watten E.
