Here goes again: All federal employes from the president down pay federal income in-come tax on their incomes, including in-cluding their federal salaries, unless un-less their Incomes are below the taxable figure. There Is one unimportant un-important exception federal judges appointed before the income in-come tax act. But federal employes do not psy any stats income tax en their federal fed-eral salaries. State employes are subject to state Income taxes like anyone else. But state employee pay no federal fed-eral Income tax oa their stats salaries The sixteenth amendment, which Is the last word of ' the people of the United States on the subject. g4ves congress power to tax incomes, "from whatever source derived.'"
