Show Bride Chooses Holiday Season To Ved In a beautiful Christmas setting with a glistening Christmas tree and other Yule decorations, wedding wed-ding bells rang for Miss Donna K. Murray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. ' Clyde Murray, Roosevelt, and Venoy Davies, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Davies, 1 of Utahn on Friday, December 17, at the home of the bride's parents, with Bishop Merlin Sullivan of the Roosevelt Fourth ward officiating. For her wedding the lovely blond bride chose an exquisite floor-length gown of white embossed em-bossed organdy, fashioned with a fitted bodice and trimmed with rhinestone centered buttons. Her veil of bride's illusion fell from a small cap of white sating with squin trim. She carried a bouquet of white carnations surrounding red roses. Mrs. Fritz Hansen, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a red taffeta gown with silver sequin trim. Her corsage was of white carnations. Mother of the bride wore a lavender afternoon dress and the groom's mother was attired in a grey afternoon dress. Both had corsages of red rose buds and white carnations. Best man duties were assumed by Udale Birch of Utah. A vocal solo, "O Promise Me," was sung by Miss Janice Anderton, Ander-ton, accompanied by Miss JoAnn Todd. Following ' the wedding a reception recep-tion complimented the newlyweds at the Roosevelt Stake House, where dancing to Tal Wardle's orchestra or-chestra was enjoyed, and beautiful beauti-ful Christmas carols sung by Miss JeNeal Pack, Miss Melba Benson and Miss Carol Sagers, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Tal Wardle. Assisting in the gift room were Mrs. Gordon Benson, Mrs. Merlin Fenn and Mrs. Nick Murray. The guest book was in charge of Mrs. Fritz Hansen. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Bill Patry, Mrs. Frank Griffin Grif-fin and Mrs. Grant Marchant, assisted as-sisted by Miss Cathy Murray, Miss Alice Patry and Miss Joan Alexander. Alex-ander. Centering the table was a three-tiered white wedding cake, trimmed with pink roses, white with yellow center lilies and white swans. It was topped with the traditional miniature bride and groom. The newlyweds are making their home in Duchesne, where they are now at home to their many friends. |
