Miss Carol Lynn Cook To Wed Hal Robbins Announcement is made this week by Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Cook of the engagement and ap-proachnig ap-proachnig marriage of the ir daughter Carol Lynn to Hall W. Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Robbins. Wedding plans are being made for Saturday, August 18, at the home of the bride's parents, with a reception to follow. The future bride is a graduate with the class of '56 from Union High School where she was active in school affairs and a member of the Pep Olub. She represented the American Legion Auxiliary at Gilr's State in Logan in '55, and was elected senator. She was also elected first attendant to the UBIC queen in '55. She was editor of the Jr. High year book in the ninth grade. The bridegroom-elect attended Roosevelt High School and served two years in the U. S. armed service, most of which was in the European Theatre. He was released re-leased last December. At the present pre-sent time he is employed by the Bureau of Public Roads in Uintah County. The young couple will reside in Roosevelt until Januay, when both will enter the University of Utah, where Mr. Robbins plans to study engineering. |
