Show BIRTHDAY PARTY A birthday party was held for Edwin Hartman Thursday. To help him celebrate his fourth birthday were thirteen boys and girls, who played games and' had ice cream cones and cake. Mrs. Moyle Parker and three daughters, Nadeane and Nancy of American ' Fork and Mrs. Darwin Morreil and son, Hal, of Salt Lake City are visiting a week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case. Frank Wall and three children of Evanston, Wyo., have been visiting for two weeks at the Glen Ames home. Ned Wall and Kelly Hughes from Layton have also been spending their vacation with the Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lloyd spent Friday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Crosby. Other weekend guests at their home were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rogers and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Pale Crozier and family spent Sunday afternoon with their parents. Mr. Sam Crosby of Orem called Sunday afternoon also.. Twenth-fourth visitors at the rodeo in Altamont were Mr. and Mrs. Bus Mathews and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Foote and family of Salt' Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. LaVer Bentley brought their visitors to the rodeo during the 24th. They were Mr. and Mrs. Justin V. Richardson and their four daughters and four sons. Nancy, a daughter of the Richardsons, has been visiting at the Bentley home for the last month. The American Junior Baseball club and its manager, Ross Iorg, wishes to thank Grant Peei, Earl Dunmorse, Elmer Denver and Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Sixkiller for their generosity in transporting the team to Helper for the area playoff. The next time the Toyack boys will appear on the diamond' will be on the second day of the UBIC celebration. If you have not registered in Altamont to vote in the Primary Election coming Sept. 11, your registration days will be Aug. 7, 21 and 28 at the home of Mrs. Grace Taylor. Mrs. Eugene T. Hassing and 2 sons of Ft. Worth, Texas, spent two days at the home of La Farge Dastrup. They are now enroute to Puerto Rico where Mr. Hassing is a captain in the Air Force. Mrs. La Farge Dastrup left on Wednesday for Long Beach, Calif, to be with her daughter, Mrs. Larraine Perkins, who is ill. The body of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Perkins, who died at birth, was " flown to Salt Lake City where it was received by Mr. La Farge and Neal Das-'trup Das-'trup who took it from there to Ephraim for burial. |
