Show Hilda Farnsworth Pioneer Honored On 86th Birthday A party was held Sunday, July 22, at the home of E. J. Mitchell honoring him on his 86 th birthday. birth-day. The following sons and daughters were present: Reed, May, Mr. and Mrs Orvil Frenett, Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Biner Gibbs, Layton, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bleazard, a brothtr, Mr. Dan Mitchell of Kamas and several neices and nephews from Kamas, Heber and Vernal. Mr. Mitchell was one of the early settlers in Mt. Home, having first settled here 36 years ago. He has 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. His wife has been deceased de-ceased two and one half years. Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Stewart and family of Magna were holiday visitors of Mrs. Stewarts parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rand O. Rust. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Black of Salt Lake City have ben visiting Mrs. Balck's father, Mr. William Davies at Rock Creek Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bleazard and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bleazard of Salt Lake City were visiting relatives in Mtn. Home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry McDonald of Dragerton were holiday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Verlyn Stewart. Darlene Farnsworth, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Farnsworth was rushed to the Roosevelt hospital with an attack at-tack of appendicitis. She returned after one night at the hospital. Mt and Mrs. Edwin Rowley and daughter, Vicki, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Farnsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bunce of Claifornia, who were one-time residents in this area, visited one day last week. . Mrs. Janette Lyons of Idaho Falls is here on an indefinite visit with her son and daughter- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lyo: Newlyweds are Fred Lindsay : Mt. Home and Shirley Mecham : Altamont. They took their k riage vows in the LDS Ten: in Manti July 26. |
