Show New Camp of DUP Organized At Lindon Feb. 25 Lindon Camp, Daughters of Utah Ut-ah Pioneers, was organized on February 25, at the home of Mrs. Carol Wells, with the following oficers: Dora Fisher, Captain; Pearl Chapman 1st and Delia Smith 2nd vice president; Edith Walker, secretarjtreasurer; Jennie Jen-nie Keetch, registrar; Phoebe Stewart, Ste-wart, historian. Utah County DUP President Hannah Adylotte presided and conducted the election. She also explained the purpose of the DUP organization and its functioning. Mrs. Nettie Warenski, assistant assist-ant county historian discussed the constitution and bylaws and invited all the officers to be present at the Utah County DUP board meeting March 6, at 1:30 p.m. in the Lindon ward chapel. County Historian Edith Jones explained the compiling of pioneer histories. The new camp will meet the second Thursday in each month. The first meeting will be held on March 11, at 2 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Pearl Chapman. County officers will be present to assist. After business was finished refreshments re-freshments were served by the hostess. Members present not already mentioned were Virginia Young, Eva Thorne, Erma Walker. Others who have qualified for membership in the new camp are: Elsa Duncan, Alberta Walker, Erma Tomlinson, Vie Ostergaard, Marie Johnson, Ella Smith, Luella Harris, Etta Gillman, Naomi Walker.
