Show Walks At City Park Graveled: Chamber of Commerce Direct Work Last Friday and Saturday George L. Smith president of the Chamber of Commerce, assisted in securing trucks and men to haul fine gravel from the point of the mountain to spread over the paths at the City Park. Councilman S- D. Moore of the city council directed the work at the park. Every path was put in shape Friday and Saturday. Among those who assisted with trucks were: Bert Bezzant, Matthew Bezzant, Ed Nelson, Pleasant Grove Canning Co., J. O. Clark, Farmers Exchange, A. K. Thornton, Pleasant Grove Roller Mills, Nathaniel "Loader, W. M. Hone of this city and Raymond Monson of American Fork. The men assisting were: S. D. Moore, Jr., J. D. Thome, Milford Gardiner, Clifton Harper, Bud Wright, Ike Hayes, Charles Harp er, Jr., Roy Deveraux, Lyean Johnson, John-son, Ford Poulson, Aaron Walker, Lloyd West, Martin Peterson, John Halliday, Roland 'Jacobs, Clifton Clark, Lewis Olpin, A. R- Winters, Jacob Christensen, The main lines of the water system sys-tem are complete with outlets ready for large golf link sprinklers. The park Is now ready for the fall planting plant-ing of flowers and shrubs. Any j person or organization desiring to donate shrubs and flowers should let it be known. Any offerings in this I line will he gladly received. o I |
