Show ! Margaret Eliza-j Eliza-j beth Wright Dies ! Margaret Elizabeth Wright, 79, passed away Sunday morning at her home after several weeks illness of old age and general debility. She was born in England, January 23, 1854. She emigrated to Pennsylvania with her parents when a small child. When she was 9 years old she came to Utah, walking most of the way across the plains. When a young lady she worked at the Lions House in Salt Lake City for Brigham Young for 10 or 12 years. She married John Wrigjht and they moved to Lindon where they lived for 47 years. After the death of her husband, thirteen years ago, she moved to Pleasant Grove where she has since resided. ' She was an ardent L. D. S. church worker, especially identified with Relief Re-lief Society work. She is survived by Mrs. George Harris, Robert Wright of Orem; James G. Wright of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Draper of Pleastnt Grove; thirty grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Jebentia Pierpont of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at 1 p. m. in the Second ward chapel. |
