Show -u June Weddings Continue June the month of brides and roses! Cupid has been a busy person per-son in American Fork during the past few weeks and a number of our young people have succumbed to his wiles. Five young people from here have embarked upon the matrimonial sea this week. Conder-Gillman The marriage of Miss Rhea Gill-man, Gill-man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Gillman of Orem, and David Clark Conder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Conder of this city, took place Thursday hi the Salt Lake temple. Mr. and Mrs. Conder, Mr. and Mrs. Gillman accompanied the young couple through the temple and witnessed wit-nessed the ceremony. , Mr. Conder is employed in the' Home Bakery here. They will make this city their home and will be located lo-cated in the front apartment of the James T. Gardner home. Both are very well and popularly known in their respectively communities. A wedding party for the young cou-iple cou-iple is planned for the very near I future. Curtis-Chadwick I Tuesday, in the Salt Lake temple, Miss Hulda Curtis of Lehi andNlles Chadwick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer El-mer Chadwick of this city, were united in marriage. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Curtis. Both have many friends in their respective communities who join in wishes for a happy and prosperous pros-perous future Tuesday night at the home of Mr. Chadwick's aunt, Mrs. Lenard Haag, Jr., a wedding reception was held, at which one hundred fifty were present. The social was held on the spacious Chadwick lawns where the guests enjoyed playing games of various kinds. A tray lunch was served late in the evening. eve-ning. HANSEN-RUSSON Miss Roxie Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hansen, of this city, and Elmo Russon, son of Mrs. Enoch Russon of Lehi, were united in marriage Thursday in the Salt Lake temple. They were accompanied ac-companied to the temple by the mothers of both young people. Tonight In the Lehi Fourth ward chapel a wedding reception will be given in their honor to which three hundred invitations have been issued . Mr. and Mrs. Russon will make their home in Lehi. PE AY-DA VIS Miss Fern Davis of American Fork and Jennings Peay of Pleasant Grove were married in the Salt Lake temple tem-ple Thursday. The bride is well known in American Fork having for the past several years been employed at the Owl Inn where her courteous and efficient service has, won her many friends. Mr. Peay is equally as well known in Pleasant Grove, and being in the employ of the Peay Dairy has made a large number num-ber of friends here a'.s well. Mr. and Mrs. Peay will reside in American Fork. The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John II. Davis j and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. George B. Tcr.y. E AS TMOND-GORDON Another marriage of popular in-: in-: terest here is that of Miss Jean Eastmend of Salt Lake and Glen H. Gordon of this city, which took place Tuesday in the Salt Lake temple. Mrs. Gordon is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Easlmond. Her ! rather is manager of the Saratoga J Resort. Mr. Gordon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hudson Gordon. He has attended the B. Y. TJ. for the past three years and Miss Eastmond has attended the university. They were accompanied to the temple by the bride's mother and by Virgil Smith of Provo. I The young couple will reside at ! Saratoga during this summer. A wedding reception in their honor I will be given next Monday night at ! Saratoga to which 350 invitations I have been issued. |
