Show Funeral Rites Held on Monday for K. J. Ball Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, 1978 for K. J. Ball, formerly for-merly of Pleasant Grove, who died at a St. George Hospital last Wednesday. The services were under the direction of Keith Stirling of the Second Ward bishopric and were held in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel. Speakers at the services ser-vices were Gerald Belliston, and Mr. Stirling gave remarks. A life sketch was given by Orpha Cornaby. Musical numbers were given by William E. Petersen, who sang a vocal solo and by Viola Beers and Hazel Bullock, who sang a vocal duet. Catherine Rees accompanied both numbers. Prayers were givn by Wesley Jense, Refd O. Walker and Viron Washburn, and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery was dedicated by Robert Cornaby. Pallbearers were Dan Roberts, Sam Iverson, Jerry Gose, Bill Yost, Lyle V. Thacker, and Elbert M. Williams. Kenneth J. Ball was born in Pleasant Grove to Edward and Christina Jense Ball. He married Pearl Grant and they were later divorced. He married Very Feryanitz April 12, 1948 in Las Vegas. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Janice) Golden, LaMesa, Calif.; Jerri Ball, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren, gran-dchildren, three stepsons, step-sons, Robert Feryanitz, Lynnwood, Calif.; Delno Feryanitz, Paramont, Calif.; and Dermet Feryanitz, Medford, Ore. |
