Show World War II Veteran Buried Here Tuesday Full military rites were conducted conduct-ed Tuesday in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery, for George Laurson former resident of Pleasant Grove. The services were conducted by Dsan Mendenhall Jost 13, American Ameri-can Legion, with Fred Hafen commander. com-mander. Mr. Laurson, 52, a son of Hans and Patrea Iaurson, former residents resi-dents of Pleasant Grove, died Friday Fri-day in Fontana, California. He was born in Murray, Nov. 13, 1902, and. moved with his parents par-ents to American Fork, and later to Pleasant Grove, and for sometime some-time before moving to California was a cook at the Pace Sandwich Shop in Trovo. He was veteran of World War IX. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapol in Provo, directed by Orlan Gagon exalted ruler of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge No. 849. Mr. Laurson is survived by three brothers Hans A., Wm. and Edward Ed-ward Laurson of American Fork; two sisters Mrs. Viokt Pace of Provo, and Mrs. Esther Williams of Twin Falls, Idaho. |
