Show o Signal Honor Goes to Reva Beck Bosone The election of Mrs. Reva Beck Eosone as flqor leader in the state house of representatives Monday is hailed by feminine representatives in the legislature as a triumph for1 their sex". Mrs. Bosone hails from American Fork being the daughter of Mrs. Zylpha Beck and the late c M. Beck. She is a graduate of the University of Utah from wdiich she received her law degree and also studied at the University of California. She practiced prac-ticed law in Helper, Carbon County, where she first was elected to the legislature. Mrs. Bosone and her husband both practice law in Salt Lake. She is given credit by her colleagues col-leagues for the passage of much progressive legislation, despite her youth. She is the author of the state women's wage and hour law, and the sponsor of several other social welfare measures. An amendment amend-ment to the state constitution under which the legislature is given the right to pass law's for the benefit, protection and welfare of all employes em-ployes is directly credited to her. |
