Show HEALTH REPORT AT PROVO: SMALLPOX AT THISTLE Prove, Oct. 17 The Ulan count v board of health met here today with all members present Dr. Stoddard reported the south district, with no conLigious diseases in the district. Dr. Noyes reported the same condition condi-tion in the north end of tho county, but said there was one slaughter hoi:se In a 11 1th v. unsanitary condl tion. Dr. H. S. Fyne reported on the central cen-tral district, twenty-nine eases of smallpox at Thistle during September Septem-ber nnd a number of eases of chicken-pox chicken-pox In Vineyard at the present time. The secretary of the board was In sfnicted to have the slaughter house at Lchl put In a sanitary condition. The board also ordered that the Inspection In-spection of the public schools by the health officer In each district, as outlined by the state board of health, be commenced at once. Plans and specifications of the septic tank for the reception of the sewage from Olmsted, as made by Dr. Beatty of Salt 1-ake and Dr. Payuo of Provo. was ndopied, and tho secretary sec-retary was Instructed to notify the .Telluride Power company to" commence com-mence the erection of the same at once. With tbo completinn of this septic lank the sewage from Olmsted Olm-sted will be properly eared for. and the complaints heretofore made In regard re-gard to this matter will be disposed of for all time |
