Show CONCERT AT U. OF U. A group of Ogden's young musical artists went to Salt Lake yesterday to participate In the first concert of the year at the University of Utah. Miss Lillian Wright. Miss Alberta Wilght, Miss Maud Sissman and Miss Louise Pierce played piano solos, and Miss Myrtle Thau her. rendered vocal numbers. The university hall waa crowded to listen to tbe splendid program pro-gram arranged by Mr. Squire Coop, director of music at the university. BIRTHDAY PARTY. A pretty birthday party was given I In honor of Miss Sylvia Dunham Friday Fri-day evening Those present were: Sylvia Dunham. Martha Still, Hazel Freeman, Myrtle Fuller. Rbea Dwyer, Nellie Hunt, Reta Belnap. Ada Dunham, Dun-ham, Clara Stltt, Gordon Orman, Lawv rence Wat sou, Victor Crltchlow, Joseph Jo-seph Bingham, George Pones and Ralph Dunham. DRESS SOCIAL. A faucy dress social was given by the Presbyterian Sunday school last evening In the church parlors. The rooms were filled to overflowing, and 90 of the number were in wlerd and fantastic costume. A large number of the friends and parenLs were present. pres-ent. Prizes were given for the best costumes, and after a joyous evening of mirth and games, refreshments were served. Mrs Martin Cullen entertained a few friends at luncheon on Thursday. The home was made especially attractive at-tractive for the occasion, and a delightful de-lightful time was had Mrs. Phil Kohn and sister in-law, Miss Bernlce Kohn, left today via tho Denver and Rio Grande railroad for California They will visit in several cities of the Golden state and will be absent from Ogden about six weeks.
