A majority of the counties of Utah were represented, and the meeting waa both bu.-iiness-llke and Interesting, Interest-ing, due to the enthusiasm and harmonious harm-onious spirit displayed by the committeemen. com-mitteemen. Ogden secured the convention without with-out any show of opposition, and the dato set was September 2Gtu. Mr. Rudolph Kuchler, tho representative from AVobcr county, Insisted on tho selection of Ogden and must be given the credit for securing the convention for this city. Mr. C. E. Loose of l'rovo acted as chairman, and H. L. Cnmmings as secretary of yesterday's meeting, and Governor Spry and Senator Smoot remained re-mained with the committee during tho entire session. The representation on the floor of tho state convention will be bnsed on the vote cast at the last election for Congressman Joseph Howtll one delegate del-egate for each 90 votes cast, giving a lcprcBontation of about 700 delegates. dele-gates.
