Show BHI'S PEACH DAY BIG EVENT Brigham City, Sept. 2. The official program cf Peach day events has been completed. Preparations are being be-ing made to handle a larger crowd than, ever; it Is anticipated that about G,Cn) visitors will be In Brig-ham Brig-ham City on Wednesday All trains are scheduled to arrive between 0 30 and 11: CO. The big parade pa-rade will move at 11:30. Four county bands will participate in the celebration, and coueerts will be given all day. After the parade. Mayor Thomas II. Blackburn will deliver an address of welcome, A response will be made by Gov. William Spry. Free peaches will be distributed from the stanJs that will be located on Main and Forest streets; 300 bushels bush-els have been provided. At 2 p m. a band of Washakie In dlans will give a real war dance on an elovated platform in front of the courthouse. At 3: "JO the big ball game between the Wellsville team and a picked i.ln3 from the beot league teams of the state. At S o'clock free concert in the tabernacle by the Graham Musical and Concert company of Salt Lak City. There will be numerous 'other attractions at-tractions for the day. Tho visitors will be entertained every minute of their stay in the city, and an effort will be made to pleas everybody. |
