Show SUDDEN DEATH CALLS i MARY ALICE CANNON Illness Which Fell Upon Her Three Weeks Ago Terminates In Summons. Salt Lake, March 1 Mary Alleo H. Cannon, wife of Bishop Lewis M. Cannon, and oldest daughter of the late President George Q. Cannon and Elizabeth Hoagland Cannon, passed away this morning at 10 o'clock, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Emily C. Willey. 1208 south Eighth West street She was taken suddenly sick three weeks ago and apparently totally collapsed. col-lapsed. From that time on. despite all that loving hands and tho best or medical attention could do, she gradually grad-ually sunk into faer-Jong sleep. Mrs. Caucon was born October IK, IS67. and married Bishop Lewis M. Cannon October 1. 1890. Seven children chil-dren were the issue of the marriage; of the six living, the eldest will bg 15 years old tomorrow, about the same age that Mrs. Cannon was left motherless moth-erless with a big family youngei than herself. Deceased was universally known among all with whom she came in contact as a typical woman, tinselllsh to the last degree and a worker who was untiring in energj In whatever she undertook. She was universally beloved and her death leaves a gap that cannot be filled. |
