EPHRAIM BEMESGN FUNERAL SERVICES EEL SATURDAY LEWISTON Funeral services for Ephraim Bergeson, 69, prominent promin-ent Cornish resident, who died Wednesday of injuries sustained in an automobile accident, were conducted con-ducted Saturday afternoon in the Lewiston First ward ehapel. Speakers eulogized Mr. Berge-son's Berge-son's character and accomplishments accomplish-ments as a leader in the state farm bureau, a public and church official and as a business man. He was a well known banker, livestock raiser, insurance man and active in promoting irrigation projects in northern Utah. Speakers were Mayor Langton Barber of Lewis-ton, Lewis-ton, Tracy R. Welling of Salt Lake City, representing Utah state farm bureau: M. C. Neagle of Lewiston, member of the Benson stake presidency; pre-sidency; Alma Sonne of Logan, president of Cache stake presidency, presi-dency, and Bishop Clarence Nee-ley Nee-ley of Cornish, who also presided at the services. Mr. Welling read a tribute from the state farm bureau. |
