Show COMMISSIONERS SET NEW SCHEDULE FOR COUNTY OFFICIALS At the regular monthly meeting of the county commissioners, held in Beaver, Monday with Commissioners, Commission-ers, Harris, Eyre and Levi present, nqw regulations were adopted applying apply-ing to the working hours of county officials and their deputies. Under he new ruling office hours at the county officials will be-from 9:00 a. m. to 12 m., and from 1:00 p. m. to 4 p. m. Formerly county officials did not open their offices until un-til 10 o'clock in the morning and two hours were taken for lunch. The offices remained open until 5 p. m. The new schedule-adds one hour to the working day of the county officers. offic-ers. One deputy will serve the offices of county clerk, recorder and treasurer, treas-urer, in the place of hiring deputies in each office when needed. Under the new regime, the one deputy will divide his or her time between the three offices. Other business transacted at the meeting was the appointment of election el-ection Judges and clerks. Notifications Notifica-tions of the appointments have been mailed by the county clerk, who requests re-quests those receiving the notices to return the cards stating whether they will be able to qualify. Precinct Districts having 300 votes, vot-es, will, according to law, be allowed two sets of judges; those with less than 300 votes, will have one ser. Milford voting districts Nos. 1 and 2, will each have two sets of judges, while in Beaver, 1 and 2 will have two sets and No. 3 will have one set. o |
