Show PEOPLE'S FORUM MOST NEEDED IMPROVEMENT IN MILFORD CAMP GROUNDS If we expect tourist patronage, we must have a decent place for them to stop. What do they care for one or two blocks of paved street with no place to camp only in junk piles and muck holes? I If there is an ordinance requk'ing cleaning up of back yards why let the junk pile stay on Main street? Surely it is a disgrace to the town. Already the weeds should be attended at-tended to along side streets and not left till dry and full of hay fever germs before being cut. I When we can properly care for what we have, then let's have paved streets. A Subscriber. PAYS TO BE POLITE A small boy was seen marking on i the painted part of one of our busi-'.less busi-'.less houses, when the owner came ! out and asked him not to do so, as it disfigured the front. . The youth said "Alright, I won't;" tipped his hat :n a gentlemanly manner and walked away. He didn't walk far before the owner took him by the arm and said, "You deserve a small reward for the polite way you acted when asked to .stop doing what was harmful to the property." Every Miiford lad should follow this example. Contributed. |
