ERROL ORTC M Brenda Berrett, Errol Orton Exchange Vows In St. George LDS Temple Ceremony Saturday Miss Brenda Berrett and Errol Orton were united in marriage Saturday, March 21st during a double-ring ceremony performed at the St. George LDS Temple. Officiating was Rudger Atkin, temple president. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Reed Berrett of Cedar City and parents of the bridegroom bride-groom are Mr. and M rs. Claude Orton of Pa rowan. The newlywed were honored during an evening reception held Saturday at the College of Southern South-ern Utah Family Living Center. A Sp-lng theme was expressed in floral designs and decorations throughout the Living Center. The bride greeted guests In her princess style wedding gown created cre-ated from pole de soire. The dress featured a short train and round neckline with matching lace trim accenting the neckline and the elbow-length sleeves. Her veil was made of French illusion and was caught to a bow of pole de soire. She held a cascade bouquet that was styled from white roses and orange blossoms. Serving her sister as maid of honor was Pamela Berrett. Matron Mat-ron of honor was Mrs. Robert Gates of Long Beach, Calif., and bride's maids were Karen Rac Ward and Judy Thomas of Spanish Span-ish Fork along with Tana Fleitz of Provo and Reta Brown of Cedar Ce-dar City. Ta .ttonnii '."crc dressed i" matching blue gowns of taffeta. They held cascade bouquets arranged ar-ranged with daffodils and orange blossoms. Best rr.an was Jerry Ward with Llyd Benson, Douglas Orton and Kent Berrett serving as ushers. For the reception the bride's mother wore a gold colored suit with a white corsage. Mrs. Orton chose a pink suit with a white rose corsage. During the reception hours, Mrs. Milton Hyatt furnished background back-ground music on the organ. Two ladles,' Miss Susan McBride and Miss Pamela Berrett, rendered musical solos. Guest book attendant was Mrs. Frank Berrett. Mrs. Ethel Storms and Mrs. Verna Eustler of Los Angeles, Calif., assisted Mrs. Veda Ve-da Berrett of Ogden and Mrs. Mildred Case of Emmett, Idaho, In the gift room. All are aunts of the bride. Kitchen hostesses were Mrs. Wes MuIIett, Mrs. Virginia Leonard, Leo-nard, Mrs. Orville Isom, Mrs. Smoot Seamon, Mrs. Reed Leigh, Mrs. Kumen Gardner, Mrs. Lister Mailman, Miss Gail Crawford and Mrs. M. A. Cowley. Pouring were Mrs. Ralph B. Piatt and Mrs. Elloyd March ant. Serving were Miss Susan McBride Mc-Bride of Los Angeles, Miss Joyce Bjornn of Salt Lake City, Kay Christensen of Spanish Fork and Miss Sharon Church of Cedar City. The bride has been attending the Brigham Young University. The bridgroom is a student at the College of Southern Utah, majoring major-ing in political science. Following a short honeymoon i trip to Las Vegas the couple will . reside in Cedar City. Prior to the wedding the pros-1 pective bride was entertained at a personal shower given by Mrs. Frank Berrett and Mrs. Ethel Storms. The party was held at I the Frank Berrett home. |
